On Wednesday May 2, 2012 the L.A Angels were facing the Minnesota Twins at Anaheim stadium in L.A California. He pitched an excellent game on Wednesday against the Twins. He only allowed two baserunners the entire evening. One of those baserunners was Chris Parmelee, who reached only after he struck out and the ball got past Chris Iannetta. Weaver dominated the Twins hitters from start to finish. The final out, Alexi Casillas long fly ball to right field caught by a former Twin Torii Hunter, was one of the few hard-hit balls the Twins had throughout the memorable night. Weaver struck out nine and walked one. He has pitched the second no-hitter in the majors in less than two weeks. Weaver is 4-0 in his last four starts and off to a great season. The Twins haven’t had a hit in the last 15 innings. Weaver threw 121 pitches, and the cheers from the crowd of 27,288 kept growing louder. I think this article means to contextualize. Weaver pitched an amazing game. I think that he did a really good job and he's one of my favorite pitchers. He is having a solid start at the first of the season. The defense behind weaver when Weaver pitches is pretty amazing to watch. The last perfect game was by Phil Humber of the Chicago White Sox threw a perfect game against the Seattle Mariners on April 21st. Overall I think that Weaver is a solid good pitcher and I think that he could pitch more perfect games later in the year.
